My Daily Routine

A salt seller used to carry the salt bag on the back of his donkey to the market every day. On the way they had to cross a stream .One day the donkey suddenly tumbled down the stream and the salt bag also fell into the water.
The salt dissolved in the water and hence the bag became very light to carry. The donkey became very happy. Then the donkey started to play the same trick every day. The salt seller understood the trick. He decided to teach the donkey a lesson. The next day he loaded a cotton bag on the back of the donkey. Again, the donkey played the same trick hoping that the cotton bag would still become lighter. But the wet cotton became very heavy to carry and the donkey suffered a lot. It learned a lesson. It didn't play the trick anymore after that day and the seller became happy again.
বঙ্গানুবাদ এক নুন বিক্রেতা রোজ তার গাধার পিঠে নুনের ব্যাগ চাপিয়ে বাজারে যেত। পথে একটা ছোটো নদী পেরোতে হত। একদিন গাধাটা নুনের থলে সহ উল্টে জলে গিয়ে পড়ল। নুন জলে গলে গেল ও থলেটা খুব হালকা হয়ে গেল। গাধাটা এতে খুব খুশি হল। তারপর গাধাটা রোজ একই চালাকি শুরু করল। নুনওয়ালা এটা ধরতে পারল। সে গাধাটিকে একটা শিক্ষা দেবে ঠিক করল। পরের দিন সে গাধার পিঠে একটা তুলোর বোঝা চাপালো। গাধাটা আবার এই কৌশল নিলো ব্যাগ হালকা হয়ে যাওয়ার আশায়। কিন্তু ভেজা তুলো খুব ভারী হয়ে গিয়েছিল ও গাধার খুব কষ্ট ভোগ হল। ওর একটা শিক্ষা হল। এটা আর কোনোদিন চালাকিটা করেনি ও নুনওয়ালাও খুশি হয়েছিল।

একবার, একটি শেয়ালের খুব খিদে পেয়েছিল। সে একটা আঙুর বাগানের মধ্য দিয়ে যাচ্ছিল ও পাকা আঙুরের থোকা দেখতে পেল। কিন্তু ওগুলো অনেক উঁচু ডাল থেকে ঝুলছিল। আঙুরগুলো অবধি পৌঁছানোর জন্য সে বারবার ঝাঁপাতে লাগল। কিন্তু প্রতিবারই সে ঝুলন্ত আঙুর গুলোর নাগাল পেল না। শেষপর্যন্ত সে হাল ছেড়ে মনখারাপ করে রইল। সে নিজেকে বলল, ওই আঙুরগুলো খুবই টক ও খাবার যোগ্য নয়।
