Mother Teresa, was born on 26 August in 1910. At the age of 18 she decided to be a nun. She then left home for good to enroll herself at the Institute of the Blessed Mary Virgin in Ireland. She came to India in 1929. Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity in 1950. She spent many years of her life in Kolkata, working for the poor and sick people. She was honored with many awards. In 1979 she was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace. She is respected all over the world for her noble works. She passed away on 5 September 1997 in Kolkata.
বাংলা মানে : মাদার টেরিজা ১৯১০ সালের ২৬ আগস্ট জন্মগ্রহণ করেছিলেন। ১৮ বছর বয়সে তিনি সন্ন্যাসিনী হওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছিলেন। তারপর তিনি ভালো কাজের জন্য চিরতরে বাড়ি ছেড়ে চলে যান ও আয়ারল্যান্ডের ব্লেসড্ মেরি ভার্জিন প্রতিষ্ঠানে গিয়ে নাম নথিভুক্ত করান। ১৯২৯ সালে তিনি ভারতে আসেন। ১৯৫০ সালে তিনি মিশনারিজ অফ চ্যারিটি স্থাপন করেন। কলকাতায় তিনি তাঁর জীবনের বহু বছর দরিদ্র, অসুস্থদের সেবা করে কাটিয়েছিলেন। সারা জীবন তিনি বহু পুরস্কারে ভূষিতা হয়েছিলেন। ১৯৭৯ সালে তিনি শান্তির জন্য নোবেল পুরস্কার পান। তাঁর মহৎ কাজগুলির জন্য তিনি সারা পৃথিবীতে সম্মানিত হয়েছিলেন। ১৯৯৭ সালের ৫ সেপ্টেম্বর কলকাতায় তিনি মারা যান।

Last night, Trina read a beautiful story. The story is about a respectable person. He is a merchant. He traveled the world for his business. But one day, he lost all his ships in a dangerous sea storm. In one day he became very poor. He lost all his property. He did not find any hope nearby. One day, he was standing outside a food shop. He was very hungry but did not have any money to buy food. Suddenly, he saw a stranger in front of the shop. "Can you give me one rupee? I am very hungry but I do not have a paisa to buy a roti" asked the businessman. Hearing this, the man brought out a one rupee note from his pocket and said, "This is all I have. But now, you take it because your hunger is greater than mine". The businessman was surprised and asked, "But how will you buy your food?" "If you remain dedicated to charity, a savior will surely come to help you in your distress the man affirmed in a calm
and quiet tone.
