Anish was excited to start the new school this year. He was excited to see his friends again and to meet his new teacher. Mr. Roy is his new class teacher. Mr. Roy is very gentle. In the first class, he told the
children about Neil Armstrong. Neil Armstrong was born on August 5, 1930. He wanted to be a pilot at an early age. "He was 5 years old when he first went on an aeroplane. Neil liked to read lots of books and build model aeroplanes. He was 15 years old when he got his pilot's licence.

His first words, when he set foot on the Moon, were, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." He spent nearly two hours walking on the moon. On July 24. they returned to earth. They landed in the Pacific Ocean. Neil Armstrong died on August 2), 2012. He was 82 years old. After the class, Anish smiled as he thought of what a great year it would be.

Answer. Last night I dreamt about Mars planet. I travelled there in a space shuttle. I landed there safely. I found no trees and no water there. It is a red planet. I saw a planet which is called our Earth. It was a great experience. Just that moment I woke up.

Read the passage and answer the following questions :
The moon is a very familiar figure to all of us. She awakens a feeling of love and tenderness in our hearts. Even an infant stretches out its hands to grasp this beautiful thing. Nor is her appeal confined only to children. Ever since the stirring of the poetic faculty in man, she has furnished a theme for poets and artists. The full moon and the crescent moon have always played an important role in literature. The soft silvery brightness, which forms her principal charm to us is borrowed from the light of the sun. Out of the vast flood of light which the sun pours forth, the moon grasps a little, and of this little, she reflects a small fraction to illuminate the earth. When on a clear night, we look out on the magic of moonlight, it is often difficult for us to realise that the moon is shining in borrowed feathers.

Answer. Last winter I went to a hill station in Darjeeling, with my parents and some neighbours. Its pleasant weather enchants me much. I saw the Zoo, Batasiya Loop, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and so on. Beautiful flowers pleased me also. In Darjeeling, food items were available as in our locality, such as — rice, vegetables, meat etc. The dress of the people there was in very traditional and colourful. I am happy with their behaviour, especially their simplicity.
