class 5 lesson 8 buildings to remember question and answer

Sujit was feeling elated! They reached Murshidabad this early morning. He was standing in front of Hazarduari. He was awestruck by the massive size of the building. He never thought it would be so big.
Their guide was telling them about Hazarduari ina dry and monotonous way. Sujit had already got to know from these talks that the building used to be known as Bara Kothi. It was built in the 19th century during the reign of Nawab Nazim Humayun Jah. It was designed by an architect called Colonel Duncan Mcleod. The palace is huge. It has one hundred and fourteen rooms. It has one thousand doors of which one hundred are false! It is really a remarkable thing. Sujit wondered what an experience it would be to live in a house with a hundred rooms and a thousand doors!

Answer ➛ This year Durga Puja vacation, we toured to Ayodhya hills. But in the next puja vacation, we shall stay in Durgapur. We shall hop pandals and have an experience of the jostling crowd. I like to walk and stand in a long queue in the crowd before the pandals. I shall have food with my cousins and family members at the roadside food stalls. Then we shall spend time gossiping on the got-up and recent games and sports.
