Self Check
Freedom fighter 'Dadu (we called him so) used to live in our locality only a year ago. Although he was very old, his health was still considerably good and his ability was remarkable. We liked him a lot. He was very generous to us. He treated us like his own grandchildren, told us stories, and, sometimes even played with us. My father once told me that freedom fighter Dadu came from an affluent family. Yet, he believed in the inherent equality of man. Even after Independence, he worked extensively for the rights of the disadvantaged and fought against social injustice. He was indeed a true humanist. Dadu died last year. We still miss him a lot!
